Attorney General Amos is set to join Prime Minister Raila Odinga a move likely to bolster Raila’s badly deflated political party.
Wako is set to join the PM’s party in the year’s eve when Raila will officially declare his candidature for the Presidency.
Wako will run for the senate in Busia in the next elections in ODM a move likely to strengthen Raila’s party in the town.
Sources close to the former AG revealed that plans have been made for his official move to ODM.
“We are moving to ODM and that is where Wako will be at the new year,”said an ally.
Raila was the chief guest at a prayer meeting held for the retired former attorney General at his Matayos home in Lwanya on Friday.
“Amos has now retired,we are encouraging him to now take up a new role,he can come to ODM then we will give him a number,”Raila said.
The PM was accompanied to the function with several ODM big wigs including his

deputy Musalia Mudavadi and cabinet ministers Paul Otuoma,Wyclife Oparanya and James Orengo.
But addressing the gathering Wako said, “We are gathered here to God for his guidance for the last 20 years I served as attorney general”
PNU side of the coalition boycotted the fete signaling yet again that the former AG is closer to the ODM fabric than the PNU mandarins he served obediently.
Area MP Chris Okemo who is at loggerheads with the ODM leadership ever since he missed in Raila’s cabinet line-up did not attend the function.
