Raila nominated Sirma to the cabinet three times

BY AMOS MOQUA
Prime Minister Raila Odinga appointed Musa Sirma to the cabinet three
Sirma and Prime Minister Raila Odinga
times but each time the Office of the President blocked his appointment.
The cabinet office always blocked Sirma’s appointment with head of Public service Francis Muthaura claiming the NSIS had a damning report about the minister that was never disclosed.
In the first reshuffling, the PM listed Sirma but Statehouse rejected his nomination to the cabinet.
“I  could have joined the cabinet long time ago had it not been for some people who always blocked me,”Sirma said.
The office of the Prime Minister was never informed of the damning report the NSIS held about the minister and therefore kept on nominating Sirma to the seat.
The East African Community Minister at one time lost hope about supporting the PM but was told to hold his patience with the PM personally showing his the nomination letter.
Kenyaradar investigations has  confirmed that Assistant Minister Magerer Langat was set to join the cabinet to replace Industrialization Minister but his nomination was withheld.
Magarer’s nomination was withheld after Raila was advised against going offensive against  his former loyal defender Henry Kosgey.
Kosgey is facing two major judicial actions both in Kenya and at the ICC .
