ICC to rule on Kenya appeal case on Tuesday

The International Criminal Court Appeals Chamber will on Tuesday next week deliver its judgment on the government's appeal regarding its challenges to the admissibility of the post election violence cases.
The judgment will be delivered in a public session a day to the commencement of the confirmation of charges hearings.
According to a statement to the media from the ICC's Public Affairs Unit, journalists will cover the proceedings.
Pre-Trial Chamber II judges in May rejected Kenya's application challenging the admissibility of the two cases, invoking the principle of complementarity between the ICC and the national judicial systems.
Six Kenyans, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Public Service head Francis Muthaura, former Police Commissioner Mohammed Hussein Ali, MPs William Ruto and Henry Kosgey and radio presenter Joshua Arap Sang are facing charges of crimes against humanity at The Hague based court.
The charges include murder, deportation, rape, inhumane acts, persecution and torture.
ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo accuses the six of being "the most responsible"for the post poll chaos
