House team gives nod to vetting board

A Parliamentary Committee has approved the formation of the board that will vet judges and magistrates as required in the Constitution.
RELATED STORIES
The Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee (CIOC) has recommended that the members of the Vetting of Judges and Magistrates Board take up their jobs.
The board is chaired by veteran lawyer Sharad Sadashiv Rao.
Its Kenyan members are: Justus Maithya Munyithya, Roseline Odhiambo Odede, Prof Ngotho wa Kariuki, Meuledi Mabruki Iseme and Abdirashid Abdullahi.
The foreigners on the board are: Sir Stephen Sedley, Lady Justice Georgina Wood and Louise Otis.
