The G7 alliance yesterday joined the family of the late vice president Michael Wamalwa Kijana in commemorating his 11th Anniversary where they promised to work together and form the next government. Eldoret North MP William Ruto told youth to support the group G7 saying the government has failed to honour its pledge of creating jobs fro them. “You youth of this nation should ensure that you join hands together and support us to take the next government. The time for you to get good jobs is now and is only through  G7 that you will excel,” said Ruto.
He said when he was the Minister for Higher Education, he allocated Sh40 million to Kitale Technical Training Institute to ensure the youth acquire skills that will help them in the building the nation. He said the main aim of the G7 is  to change the current leadership that he added has  subjected most Kenyans to high cost of living and unemployment.
He added that the government had failed to plan appropriately towards hunger alleviation which has contributed to high cost of living. Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta said that the G7 was firm and asked youths for their support pointing out that those who undermined them that they were young should change their stance. “We have made our minds and we will be together” said deputy Prime minister.
