Share/Save/Bookmark Drama unfolded at the Nairobi home of an ODM MP from North Eastern who sent away his daughter for breaking a family curfew and spending the night at her boyfriend’s home. When the young woman returned home yesterday morning, her father threw all her belongings out. She threatened to strip naked as a huge crowd of onlookers gathered at the MP's gate to witness the incident. The angry politician hurled abuse at the onlookers and threatened to set his dogs on them.

Kilome MP Harun Mwau has found ways of dealing with the surveillance mounted on him by the CIA spies who have focused their satellite gadgets on him. The sharpshooter during his days as a policeman has stopped using cell phones and acquired an anti-surveillance gadget through which he talks to a chosen few. MPs trying to reach him now have to call his driver who then makes arrangements for the “Boss” to speak. Some of the callers have to go through a youthful Ukambani MP to reach Mwau.

A senior member of staff at the National Assembly eyeing a senatorial seat in Nyanza Province has become so close to the Prime Minister Raila Odinga that it has raised concerns among MPs from the county. The man expected to quit his job in months is said to be setting the stage for a serious campaign. Critics are accusing him of having done very little to secure jobs for youth from the county other than those from his wife's family.

Clergymen in Kajiado North constituency are concerned about trips made by Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti to a particular church in Ongata Rongai. The religious leaders are jealous that the minister has conducted funds drives for one church in the area four times this year.
