President Kibaki’s son Jimmi has urged political leaders to stop bickering in public places saying it portrayed a negative image about the Kenyan leadership.

Jimmi urged those shouting at each other in public to stop it as it is not in order to insult each other in public as children listened. Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta have been throwing spats at each other publicly, an issue which has prompted the Kibunja-led National Cohesion and Integration Commission to issue warning that action will be taken against hate. “Let us respect each other as such public spats is showed were illustrative of bad manners to our children. "Leaders should resolve their differences internally even if it will mean locking themselves inside a room but not in public,” he said.
