PNU-ODM Meeting

The stand-off between the MPs who campaigned for or against the new constitution seems to have been resolved, at least for now. A joint PNU/ODM parliamentary group meeting convened by the two principals resolved to include the 'no' MPs in the critical parliamentary oversight committee that will oversee the implementation of the new constitution. President Kibaki in his address insisted that the contest between the greens and the reds was over, and that the new constitution was for all Kenyans, regardless of how they voted.
