Nine in every ten Kenyans say they are very satisfied with the results of the referendum, regardless of how they voted.
A similar number also think that the election process was free and fair despite minor problems.
This is according to a post referendum opinion poll carried out by the research group, Synovate.
The results of the opinion poll released Wednesday indicated that a majority of Kenyans approved the outcome of the referendum with the percentage surging to 98% among those who are either very satisfied or somewhat satisfied.
The public's confidence in the electoral commission soared to 85 percent compared to the 12% rating the disbanded Kenya Electoral Commission had in December 2009.
But losing this trust of the public is the church with the research indicating that only 19 percent of Kenyans have full trust in church leaders, more or less the same percentage that fully trusts politicians.
Considering trust rating on personalities, the Prime Minister leads, with 61% of respondents followed by 27% for the vice president and 21% for William Ruto.
And on the prospects for the country under the new constitution, three quarters of Kenyans are optimistic that their economic conditions in the next twelve months will be better than in August 2010. This percentage goes significantly up from 45% in December 2009
