KETRACO new lines the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company - KETRACO will construct a new power transmission line to stabilize power supply between Mombasa and Nairobi. The new line to be constructed at a cost of 7.4 billion shillings is expected to reduce transmission losses and enhance the supply of power. The line with the capacity to carry 1,500 kilo volts of power will be constructed by Indian company Kalpataru and is expected to be ready in 2 and half years. Tony Sanya has that report.
