Cabinet Meeting

Cabinet Ministers who campaigned against the proposed constitution have been locked out of a cabinet committee to implement the new constitution. The three Cabinet Ministers who led campaigns against the new constitution have been excluded from a Cabinet Committee of 16 members to over see the implementation of the new constitution. The Cabinet move came just a day after a joint PNU and ODM parliamentary group meeting resolved that implementation of the new constitution will involve both yes and no vote proponents. The cabinet also recommended the membership of the constitution implementation oversight committee be expanded to 21 to accommodate all political interests.
